At the BILD Alberta Awards, Homes by Avi was named Alberta’s top large-volume homebuilder for the second consecutive year, collecting five awards spanning single-family design (the 2025 Stampede Rotary Dream Home), multi-family design (The Finley duplex in Calgary), energy efficiency (The Leonard in Edmonton), and community service.
The 45-year-old builder — active in Calgary, Edmonton, and Austin, Texas, with more than 30,000 homes built across 175 communities — has also committed $1 million over five years to construction education at SAIT and NAIT.
What it means: Awards season is a brand arms race in Alberta homebuilding. Back-to-back Builder of the Year wins give Homes by Avi a durable trust signal in every sales centre and ad campaign — and every other large builder in the province now needs a credible answer to it in their own positioning.
